The Belgium Twenty are tweeting, 'The Valley will be leased out by Roland to the Aussies! They aren’t willing to pay full price! If true this is very disappointing!. Also the training facility’s will be leased and a 10% of all youth sales will go to Roland until the full £40m is paid. If this is true (have no reason to doubt it) then it is very disappointing.'
They comment, 'Roland did similar at Standard and also STVV he still has financial connections to these clubs! Think of it as his long-term pension i guess! Roland has won! Bought a club ran it into the ground and made a tidy long-term profit!'
