The CAS Trust met earlier this week with Lieven de Turck [sic] who has the lead role in the takeover negotiations. He said that the Australian consortium had not submitted all the required documentation to the EFL. The complexity of the consortium also seemed to be an issue: More paperwork needed
It is difficult to make any sense of what is going, but what does seem to be the case is that no takeover will have taken place before the season starts. In the meantime, Lee Bowyer is constrained in preparing for the new season.
