Appleton throws down gauntlet on transfer window

Charlton's January transfer window will have to be a million times better than the last two windows if Charlton are going to be promoted insists Michael Appleton, signing more than a handful of players: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/michael-appleton-transfer-windows-need-to-be-a-million-times-better-than-recent-ones-for-charlton-to-be-promotion-contenders/

We can but hope, although full of doubt - getting value out of the January window is not easy.

Meanwhile the fates of key players George Dobson and Corey Blackett-Taylor remain uncertain with six months left on their contracts,

  1. "we need signings" always heard from managers out of their depth
"I don't want to disrespect the players I have available to me, but..." then goes on to say they're not good enough
just another clown from the merry go round promoted above his level of competence
He inherited a patchy squad but he's only kept afloat by Dobbo's indefatigability and May's hot scoring streak
His selections and shapes get weirder with every passing(!) match
Lose either of them and we're adrift, rudderless, plunging down this lousy division
    Get well soon Wyn
