Technical director Andy Scott on Thierry Small: “I’ve had a couple of conversations with his agents and we’ve made him a new offer, a long-term deal that he and his agents are considering.
“If that doesn’t happen by the time we need to activate the
option then we will activate it and continue those negotiations.
“Thierry will definitely be here next season and we’re
delighted about that because he’s a fantastic person."
Some fans might wish that Andy Scott wasn't here, although I lack the knowledge to pass judgment on him.
Andy Scott seems to be the subject of ire from a section of our fans who believe all the dud recruits are totally due to his scouting/selection. Like you, I don't have sufficient knowledge of him or his role to know whether that ire is justified.
