The news has done little to overcome the gloom prevailing in some quarters with a meeting being called to form a supporters' trust, although I thought one would have been formed before. I am also uncertain how it could tackle a problem that is ill-defined in the first place.
The push for the creation of a supporter's trust would seem to be a sound preventive measure not to address any particular problem but to have a structure in place should serious issues emerge in the near, medium, or long-term.
ReplyDeletePerhaps this is obvious to others, but what harm ensues from pulling together a trust -- regardless of the reasons (real or imagined or simply exaggerated) that prompted its creation?
