Kevin Nugent has been appointed as Charlton's assistant manager. Until now first team coach at Luton Town, he worked with Russell Slade at the O's so presumably he is the manager's choice: Nugent
Richard Cawley of the SLP has tweeted that this was Slade's long-term plan, but the issue of compensation had to be settled.
Very slowly, with the start of the season three weeks away, a team is being assembled.
