Cook exit poses problems for Charlton

Johnnie Jackson says that preparations for tomorrow's match against Ipswich Town have been made trickier by the exit of manager Paul Cook: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/charlton-athletic-caretaker-boss-johnnie-jackson-gives-his-reaction-to-paul-cooks-ipswich-exit/

Cook went after the 0-0 FA Cup draw with Barrow.  The Tractors were hoping for a higher league place after splashing the cash in the summer.

It is not yet known who will be in caretaker charge.   Players can react to the departure of a manager in two ways.  They can become disoriented or they may feel relieved and have more freedom to express themselves.

Jason Pearce will be available for the game.  Johnnie Jackson also provides an update on other injuries: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/charlton-athletic-injury-update-club-captain-jason-pearce-set-to-be-available-for-ipswich-match/
