I always thought that he was an underrated player and Curbs praised him a lot, but I suppose he does not fit in with the new manager's plans.

I fear this will come back to bite CAFC. If Ben's got himself a better deal then good luck to him he goes with our warmest wishes. If Charlton/Sandgaards think they're recruiting better than BP then they'll need to be spending big on transfers And wages. BP's capabilities at this level are proven. CAFC need 2 LB's at his level and above, which won't come cheap. If they think BP's too costly then we're stuffed - our 13th place was not unrepresentative of the resources deployed.
