Changes at the top

Charlton are set to confirm Charlie Methven as chief executive officer, with a remit for the off-pitch side of the club.  

Global Football Partners have reviewed management structures and there are other changes. Chairman Jim Rodwell will oversee football operations with Andy Scott continuing as technical director but no longer on the board, in effect a demotion.  Paul Elliott appointed vice-chairman.

As for Methven, I was initially doubtful about him based on Sunderland.   He can certainly talk the talk, now he can show what he can do.  At least he knows more about football than some CE)Os we have had.
