Not gone for a Burton

Burton Albion's draw against Wigan last night means that they will survive in League One and don't need to take points off us on Saturday.

We don't need to risk any injured players, or indeed any key players on Saturday, but it would be good to get a win in front of what promises to be a bumper crowd.  My forecast at the beginning of the season was 3-1.

The toughest test in the play off semi-finals could be tenacious Stockport.   If we beat them and face Wycombe at Wembley, I would be confident of our chances.   Leyton Orient could be trickier with their new American owners.

Wycombe fans (Sid and Doris Bonkers) will have a short trip to Wembley from Beechy Bucks.  However, hopefully the Chairboys are losing form at the crucial time, even if they think they might have learnt lessons from our hammering of them.

Wycombe are owned by one of the world's wealthiest men, but so far he has not been splashing the cash.  They could be more of a threat next season if we both end up in League One, but there is real hope that we won't be.
