Scott Parker's bad career choice

This When Saturday Comes essay about Scott Parker has been around for a while, but is worth a read. It argues that Scott Parker's departure from Charlton stalled his career, as well as being bad for the Addicks: A sorry tale

If he had stayed, we might have had an outside chance of qualifying for Europe that season.

  1. At that time Charlton where a big threat to the bigger clubs, especially chelsea. They did not need Parker, all they wanted was to get him out of Charlton,as he was our main man.he unfortunately put money before, loyalty,he could of waited he was only young, possibly replaced Roy Keane at United. He should have been a Charlton legend,I think in his more reflective moments,he will regret his decision for the rest of his life.

  2. I would suggest that in his more reflective moments he will consider the size of his “wad !”
