Disappointment for Charlton

Charlton went down 1-0 to AFC Wimbledon tonight. Although they remain in 6th place, it was a missed opportunity to use their game in hand to consolidate their hold on a play off place.

The Addicks lacked a cutting edge with Zyro disappointing up front. The closest Charlton came was when they hit the post following a corner on 72 minutes.

The Wimbledon goal came right at the end of the second half through Taylor when Bauer slipped in possession. The home side then dug in defensively in the second half. Charlton used all their substitutes (Magennis, Marshall, Ajose) to no avail.

745 Addicks witnessed Lee Bowyer's first defeat as manager.

Lee Bowyer has said that he was not happy with Zyro's performance and has told him so: Critical of forward
