Gas playing for their future

With the play offs now out of reach, players at Bristol Rovers have to play for their future at the club: Everyone has to play for their future

The players have been kicking lumps out of each other in training which hasn't pleased supremo Darrell Clarke too much given his injury worries. But he has promised home fans that his players 'will put on a performance' tomorrow against Charlton.

The man in the middle will be Robert Lewis. He was the referee who had to be stretchered off after clattering into Josh Magennis.

Can Lee Bowyer emulate Chris Powell and achieve four straight wins in his spell as manager? Bristol Rovers will be no pushovers, despite having one of the worst defensive records in League One: CAST preview

Odds: Bristol Rovers, 9/5; Draw, 21/10; Charlton, 13/8.

  2. Hoping we may have found something here with bowyer, he has that curbs calm determination, doesn't go over the top in his reactions and tactically astute and capable of motivating his troops.

  3. hopefully we keep cool and do what we've been doing successfully in the last three games - play 442, and break at speed and get into shooting positions. I've been impressed with Bowyer, not just with the results but for his demeanour, he has a cool and calm head on his shoulders, he talks a lot of sense and isn't getting carried away. He's got us playing a style of football that suits the players at the club.
