Take positives from the loss

Lee Bowyer hopes that Charlton's young players will take some positives from tonight's 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat at West Ham: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/lee-bowyer-hopes-charlton-youngsters-take-positives-from-league-cup-exit-at-hands-of-premier-league-west-ham/

The sanguine supremo thinks that only Chuks Aneke's injury record stops him playing at a higher level: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/chuks-aneke-wouldnt-be-playing-in-league-one-if-his-fitness-record-was-better-charlton-boss-lee-bowyer/

Bowyer did confirm a club had put a bid in for Macauley Bonne and it was turned down. 'That happened and we turned it down. We’ve gone back to them and said he’s not for sale.'
