Charlton went top of group A of the Papa John's Trophy southern section last night with a 3-0 victory over Gillingham. The average age of the side was 20.
Following an opening own goal, Aaron Henry and Miles Leaburn scored.
Assstant coach Scott Marshall said: 'Really pleasing. It was a dominant performance so to get three goals on the back of it, a really good evening. Some young players got some good experience there and performed to a high level.'
