Lee Bowyer is to have contract talks with Roland's sidekick Lieven de Turck today: Sitdown talks
Richard Cawley of the SLP comments, 'Unbelievable to think that this hasn't been resolved. Bowyer has progressed the team on a reduced budget this season. Duchatelet should be trying to get his future resolved as a matter of priority.'
He continued, 'The appointment of Bowyer - and Jacko as his number two - gave a feel-good factor which had been missing under previous appointments in the Duchatelet era. But they have delivered with the results on the pitch.'
'It's amazing to me that Bowyer is having to be the one who is instigating face-to-face talks. I think at most football clubs then you'd have a meeting to talk about the offer at the time it is first made. But this is Charlton.'
