Bowyer's contract offer is 'incentivised'

The contract offer made to Lee Bowyer is 'incentivised'. Quite what this means is far from clear, but apparently it is not a normal basic wage: Roland's offer

Perhaps the incentive was to avoid promotion? The serious point is that delay could lead to Bowyer being made an offer elsewhere.

  1. Why would anyone sign an incentive based contract for a boss who consistently pulls the rug from under them?

  2. ... and didn't certain club staff have an incentivised bonus scheme, one which fell foul of a Roland bad mood.
