Lee Bowyer is pleased that Jake Forster-Caskey was able to have a cameo against Scunthorpe, but says he is not ready for greater involvement yet as he comes back after a long spell off with injury: Not yet ready
Forster-Caskey could nevertheless have a key role in the play offs.
Bowyer is targeting a third place finish. Which team would be in sixth place remains uncertain. Doncaster went down at home to Accrington Stanley last night so they are now just three points ahead of Peterborough who have a game in hand.
Coventry City also have an outside chance of making sixth place. I would prefer a flagging Doncaster to either Coventry or Peterborough who are capable of being tricky (the Sky Blues defeated us twice this season).
Fans have pointed out that if we win the last two games we'll finish on exactly the same wins draws losses and points as we did before the Greatest Game in 1988. If we score four clear goals we will end up with the same goal difference.
