Charlton's 'best football of the season'

Charlton played some of their best football of the season in their 1-1 draw with Gillingham on Saturday, according to media duty player Albie Morgan: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/albie-morgan-we-played-some-of-our-best-football-of-the-season-during-charltons-1-1-draw-with-gillingham/

I am a glass half man, but I am not so sure.  It is true we had 69 per cent possession, but it has to be possession with a purpose.

We need to create more chances and then use them clinically.   I am still not sure that the midfield is working is well as it should.   For all the tireless efforts of Bogle and the increased sharpness of Aneke, we need a quality striker in January.

Rochester-born Morgan thinks he has benefitted from playing alongside players who have performed at the highest level and is determined to keep his place in the side: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/charlton-midfielder-albie-morgan-determined-to-keep-place-in-lee-bowyers-side-after-winning-managers-trust-with-recent-performances/
