Akin Famewo will be in the squad for Wednesday's match against MK Dons. The Norwich loan player has been impressive since his arrival at Charlton: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/charlton-athletic-handed-defensive-boost-for-milton-keynes-match-but-striker-will-miss-out/
Jason Pearce will get some time in the under 23s today, but is evidently not match fit.
Paul Smyth had to have five stitches in the cut he received at Ipswich and will not be available, but Conor Washington will be back.
The club does need to pay some attention to the ticketing ballot for Wednesday. A fan has commented on social media: 'In spite of emailing the ticket office to tell them I simply cannot get to evening kick offs in time I have been allocated a ticket for Wednesday along with my son. So that’s two empty seats that needn’t be. There are fans on the ‘Uncensored’ FB page too in the same situation. Have emailed them again and asked for our seats to be re-allocated. Not hopeful as they have their blinkers on and don’t appreciate that not every ST holder lives within a few miles of the Valley.'
