Darren Pratley has confirmed that he is leaving Charlton.
In a farewell message he said: 'I have loved every minute of it and proud to have worn the shirt over 100 times ... it really is a family club and those people behind the scenes are the heartbeat ... a big thank you to all the fans for cheering us on.'

Ben Hayes commented: 'Pratley played his heart out every time he pulled on a Charlton shirt, a leader on and off the pitch. Also a much better player than a few fans realised. For the Donny semi-final and for coming on and changing the play-off final alone he deserves great credit.'
A number of fans have recalled his goal against Doncaster.
Thanks to Darren Pratley from me. Always gave his all. It's probably the correct decision to release him though.
ReplyDeleteI always thought he would be useful among the coaching staff. Perhaps we're fully stocked in that dept.
