During the Roland Duchatelet era, Charlton had difficulty in attracting good sponsorship deals. Indeed, some long-term sponsors pulled out altogether in disgust at the barmy Belgian's antics.
On the end of season show last night Wayne Mumford referred to a big multi million pound deal over three to five years that we’re in talks for. He didn’t say anything about who or what, but said that’s the type of people who are showing interest in us now and where we’re heading as a club to be able to start getting deals like that.
There has been speculation that it could be a kit supplier.
