Reports are circulating that Chuks Aneke has been offered a new one year deal after a meeting with Nigel Adkins yesterday, but I have no confirmation from a reliable source.
There were rumours that Blackburn Rovers were interested and they certainly need a striker as they are likely to lose Alan Armstrong.
Chuks can unsettle the opposition with his physical presence and can find the back of the net. The downside is his history of injury and his inability to last 90 minutes, although hopefully medical and other staff can work on that.
On balance I think that a one year contract would be the right decision.
Offer of one year on same terms as this year.
