Makes horrible reading and raises a major question, if you own an asset like a football club , surely the motivation of any successful business person would be to maximise revenue AND gain prestige from it's success. Only a very warped mind would undertake this grubby scheme of decline of some great football clubs. Let's hope the sale of the club finally goes through, the patient is in critical condition!
