Sixty years without a league goal at Lincoln

Charlton have not scored at Lincoln in a league game since 1960 and even then they followed up their opener with an own goal: https://www.castrust.org/2021/10/have-you-ever-seen-us-score-at-lincoln/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=have-you-ever-seen-us-score-at-lincoln

Lincoln are 17th in the table, but 9th in the form table while Charlton are second from bottom.  At home they have won one, drawn two and lost two.

Four Four Two think that the Imps have a superb boss in Michael Appleton and forecast a 4th place finish.  Unusually, the quoted fan is more modest forecasting a top ten finish.

Appleton says morale is high with three key players returning from injury after the international break including Chris Maguire.

1,300 Addicks are expected in the away end at the LNER Stadium.

Ronaldo has revealed that he was approached about investing in Charlton, but the price was too high: https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/ronaldo-owner-english-clubs-takeover-brentford-charlton-brazil
