Bowyer is a worried man

Shell shocked supremo Lee Bowyer is worried about the number of goals Charlton are conceding, but says that they should take confidence from their second half performance against Rochdale: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/charlton-boss-lee-bowyer-says-addicks-must-take-confidence-from-second-half-comeback-against-rochdale/

The beleaguered boss has held his hands up over his mistake of playing Paul Smyth at right wing back for the opening part of the game: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/lee-bowyer-admits-he-made-a-mistake-by-playing-qpr-loanee-paul-smyth-at-wing-back-during-charltons-4-4-draw-with-rochdale/

Bowyer thought that the sending off of Jason Pearce by Trevor 'Steaming' Kettle was harsh: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/jason-pearce-to-serve-one-match-suspension-after-sending-off-that-lee-bowyer-felt-was-harsh/

Against Accrington we failed to take Colby Bishop seriously enough, although those of us who had watched him in non-league knew what a good player he was once he returned from injury.   Against Rochdale, insufficient account was taken of their phenomenal away goal scoring record, 16 before last night.   Only Hull now have a better away goals record.
