Elerewe had the misfortune to be born in Croydon and played for ****don Juniors before being let go at under 12 level.
Now that he has recovered from keyhole surgery he could claim a place in the first team squad next season. Of course, this would put him in the shop window and bigger clubs have already suggested that he may have a future with them as a potential bench warmer.
