Ferguson claims Charlton will be a 'tough test'

Retread Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson thinks that Charlton have been under achieving given the players they have and expected them to go on a run sooner or later: https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/peterborough-united-boss-on-leaving-players-out-and-the-need-to-keep-improving-as-in-form-charlton-visit-the-weston-homes-stadium-3993189

Of course, billing a match as a 'tough test' is one way of getting your excuses in first.

Peterborough have won eight games at home, drawn one and lost three.  They have scored 24 goals and conceded just nine.  Charlton have won two games away, drawn five and lost five.

Our last four visits to London Road have secured just one point: https://www.castrust.org/2023/01/darren-ferguson-again/

Over 1,500 Addicks are expected to make the trip.
