It was reported that he would be going to Gillingham in a deal that would have included use of a static caravan at Herne Bay. However, the new moneybags club have already made a number of signings.
Stockley will have a fight on his hands to secure a first team starting place. In many respects he is most useful in defence when the team are under pressure and could be brought on to help safeguard a narrow lead.
