Dillon Phillips will have to decide whether to renew his contract at Charlton. He does not want to be a No.2 keeper and sitting on the bench on Saturdays has been a 'horrible' experience: Decision to make about his future
Phillips has many advocates, in part because he is a Charlton academy product. His defenders would argue that if he had been given more game time, he could have developed further.
He is certainly a competent glovesman, but we may need more than that to win promotion.
I think given our injury problems particularly in midfield and defense any limited funds would be better spent on other areas, than a goalkeeper that might persuade Phillips to leave the club.
